Matthew DeVos
A highly experienced and dedicated injury lawyer serving clients in Dane County, Madison, and throughout Wisconsin.
Attorney Matthew DeVos was born and raised in Baldwin, Wisconsin, a small town in the northwestern part of the state. He is a 1998 graduate from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota and a 2001 graduate from the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison.
A Dedicated Personal Injury Attorney
Matt has dedicated his legal career to handling personal injury cases. He has established a track record of success and has helped hundreds of clients. He will only represent the plaintiff—the injury victim. From pre-lawsuit settlements to jury trials, he has handled a wide range of injury and accident cases, such as s automobile accidents and motorcycle accidents, slip-and-fall injuries, dog bites, dangerous and defective products, falling merchandise, construction site accidents, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice and pharmaceutical negligence—to name only a few.
Matt believes strongly that proper representation can only come through an honest, personalized and trusting relationship between a lawyer and a client. Because no two cases are ever the same and there is no “cookie cutter” method of handling an injury case, the best results can only be achieved through an effective attorney-client relationship.
A Civic Minded Lawyer and Family Man
Matt resides in McFarland with his wife and three young daughters. Being very active in the community, he is a member of First United Methodist Church in downtown Madison, having served as President of the First United Methodist Church Foundation (2014-2018) as well as Co-Chancellor to the Wisconsin Conference of the First United Methodist Church (2015). He is also a member of the Monona Chapter of Business Networking International, and the Capital City Chapter of Muskies, Inc. During the winter months, Matt coaches girls youth basketball in McFarland, and in the summer he does his best to find at least some spare time for his favorite outdoor recreational pursuit: muskie fishing.
